ACTFL encourages members with shared interests to network and share information within the larger structure of the association. 为促进这些活动， we have established 特别兴趣小组(SIGs) to provide continuous networking and information sharing on a specific topic or area of interest 给我们全体电子下注软件中的一小部分. SIGs operate under the aegis of ACTFL and are a vital component of the member service activities.

The 德国 SIG provides a professional network for 德国-language educators, promotes the teaching and learning of the language and cultures of the 德国-speaking countries, promotes articulation between pre-collegiate and post-secondary 德国 language programs, with issues that are of interest also to teachers in AP and IB programs, and represents the 德国-language teaching community within ACTFL.
